Edessa is a 16.1 Hand imported Dutch Star Mare. She was bred in Holland by Faith Fesseden, and imported into the U.S. as a yearling. Edessa won her keuring as a three year old, and was awarded the star predicate.

Edessa was trained in Dressage and Jumping. She competed initially in Combined Training, where she won year end State honors as Novice, Senior Horse and Horse of the Year Champion. She then went on to compete in Dressage through 2nd level, where she was State Reserve Champion, and she also did some limited showing in the Hunter Jumper arena, jumping 3'6" courses. She consistantly placed in the top three in her division, and was schooling four feet when we decided to retire her to a breeding career.

Edessa has had five fabulous foals so far, four colts and a filly. She survived Colic surgery at nineteen, and is doing well at the ripe old age of 22. Her colt by Orame, Virtuoso, was rated number 3 in the US for jumping at his Dutch Keuring. Her colt by Amadeus, Aristocrat, was awarded premium status with the OldenburgNA in 2007. We are hoping for one more out of this fabulous athletic mare.

Edessa's sire, Vosmaer, has sired many FEI Dressage champions in Europe and North America. Edessa is a half sister to the impressive approved Dutch Gelderlander Stallion Ijsselmeer Ikepono, who is currently competing at Grand Prix Dressage.

Edessa Star (Vosmaer x P Jetje Star)

Ebony is a 17 Hand black Thoroughbred mare. She is registered with the Jockey Club, and approved by ISR/Oldenburg NA and the Oldenburg Verband.

Ebony's bloodlines trace back to Bold Ruler and Nasrullah on the Sire's side, and to War Admiral on the Dam's side. She is a spectacular mover as well as being beautiful, and has passed those traits on to her foals. She has had four foals, but unfortunatly only three of them survived into adulthood. All three were awarded Premium status, and she is the Dam of one approved Stallion, Amadeus.

RAJA'S EBONY QUEEN XX (Rajamon x Navy Queen)

Echo is a 12 yr old 16.2 hand black mare. She is by the fabulous five star Oldenburg NA stallion First Class, out of Raja's Ebony Queen. She is registered Oldenburg NA, and she is also approved for breeding in the GOV main mare book. Echo has been trained in Dressage and Jumping. She started competing as a jumper when she was 8, but incurred an injury, and was turned out to pasture to recover. We decided to breed her at that time to Devon Heir, a Hanoverian Stallion and 11 months later we were blessed with a gorgeous black filly, Delilah.

Echo was inspected by the Oldenburg NA in 2007 when her filly was registered . She was entered into the Premium Mare book at that time with a score of 106 points.

Echo survived colic surgery in the summer of 2008, and is doing well. She will be back in training in the winter of 2009, and will possibly be bred in the spring.

FUMARRA ECHO (First Class x Raja's Ebony Queen)

Zoe is a 4 yr old 16 hand bay Dutch mare. She is by the Approved Dutch Warmblood Stallion Naverone. Naverone is by Olympic Jus de Pomme, the Olympic Gold Medal Jumper Champion in Atlanta, 1996. Zoe is out of Edessa.

Zoe will begin her training in 2008. She will be started in Dressage, with some jumping and free jumping, to prepare her for her Dutch Keuring. Zoe is an exceptional mover, and should also be very good at jumping

We have decided to breed Zoe this summer to Amadeus for a 2009 foal, which we are looking forward to with great anticipation and excitement!

ZOE (Naverone x Edessa Star)

Delilah is a black two year old filly. She is by Devon Heir, a Hanoverian Stallion, and out of Fumarra Echo, a premium Oldenburg NA mare. Her bloodlines (De Niro, Rubinstein I, First Class/Furioso II) are famous for producing incredible dressage horses. She has an "in your pocket" personality, moves very well, and of course is quite beautiful. Delilah is registered Oldenburg NA.
